WHOLE SALMON [HOG]

Harvested almost every day, Huon whole salmon are packed fresh into polystyreme boxes filled with ice and shipped same day, directly to wholesalers and fish markets in all capital cities for further distribution. Head on and gutted [the salmon is ready to further processing, presention or cooking. We also export our salmon to our major overseas markets such as Japan, Singapore & Hong Kong.

CUTLETS

Most fishmongers, supermarkets and restaurants offer cutlets for sale. We supply the whole salmon and they further process the fish to ensure the exact cut you require.

FILLETS

Huon can also supply pre-rigor salmon fillets in various forms upon request for wholesale customers. Pin boned, skin on or off and ready for sale.

PORTIONS

or those customers who wish to perform less of the processing task, we also cut our salmon into ready to sell portions. Each portion has been pin boned, with skin on or off. Portions are szied between 160g to 220g depending on the individual specification. Available fresh, in 5kg boxes.

SASHIMI & SUSHI

While Huon do not supply sliced salmon sashimi style, the salmon we produce are sashimi grade and supplied to leading Japanese restaurants who convert the salmon into delicious sashimi & sushi products. Armed with a sashimi knife you too could make sashimi or sushi from fillets or portions bought from your local fishmonger or supermarket if you are game.
