At HUON, we rear our world-renowned Tasmanian salmon in the pristine waters of the exquisite HUON region; at the very edge of the Great Southern Ocean.

No other place on earth produces salmon with such rewarding texture and exceptional flavour. We believe our salmon is beautiful.

Its’ natural, consistent colour, a tell-tale sign we lavish our fish with care.

You’ll adore our salmon’s depth of aroma; a delicacy pleasing to the most refined palate.

This is achieved after salt curing and slowly smoking our salmon in kilns fired with whole river red gum logs for up to 40 hours, in the traditional way.

Once cooked we package the salmon portions in state of the art shelf ready packs specifically designed to keep our product fresh.

Huon Hot Smoked Salmon is ready to serve straight from the packet and is great in salads, pastas or by itself.
