Process Operators

Huon’s Process Operators are hard-working team players who work within our processing facilities to weigh, sort, trim and package salmon and trout products.

With the processing facilities operating from early in the morning, our Processing Operators have early starts and can expect weekend and public holiday work especially during the lead-up to periods of high sales (Easter and Christmas).

People successful in this role have strong attention to detail, are comfortable on their feet for most of the day, enjoy hands-on work, early starts, and strive to make a positive contribution to Huon.

Experience in working in a production or food processing environment and an awareness of Food Safety, hygiene and Work Health & Safety is highly regarded, as is previous knife hand/filleting experience.
