Our Divers and Diver Supervisors are highly-trained in Surface Supplied Breathing Apparatus (SSBA). Typical jobs done by this team include repairing holes, rigging our pens underwater, diving retrievals and general net maintenance.
There are four people on a dive crew, a supervisor, deck crew, diver and stand-by diver. The Dive Supervisor is responsible for running the boat for the day, managing the day’s tasks, briefing the crew, keeping the divers safe by checking equipment and communications systems, giving instructions to the diver undertaking their assigned job, and running the dive panel.
A Dive Supervisor is someone who has extensive diving experience and has successfully completed a Supervisor training course.
