The Vaccination Supervisor role will provide critical training for and oversee a team of approximately 6 casual employees. Key capabilities will involve the monitoring of vaccination accuracy, directing anaesthetisation and competent set up and maintenance of required equipment. Support for the Fish Stock Manager with vaccine safety trials, smolt transfer coordination will be essential. It is also expected that you would be required to act as a company representative at contract Hatcheries during loading and health assessments as well as assisting in trial activities – stocking, weighing, bathing, net changing and cleaning. This role will be positioned at Hideaway Bay in Southern Tasmania but will involve regular travel throughout Tasmania to our Hatcheries and contract Hatcheries.

The primary focus of the role is to coordinate all OH&S activities throughout Northern Tasmania. Primarily based from our Processing Facility at Parramatta Creek near Latrobe, you will also support our Northern Hatcheries. Working closely with the Plant Manager & OH&S Manager, you will organise and conduct site inspections, follow up identified action items together with implementation of proactive health and safety initiatives. A key priority will be the development of SOPs as well as ensuring that quality and environment requirements integrate effectively with health and safety requirements.
